Natural Crystallization — A Sign of Raw Honey
Our Fresh Wild Honey naturally crystallizes and becomes solid during colder weather. This is a completely natural process and does not mean that the honey has gone bad.
In general, many raw floral honeys naturally crystallize, although the speed and extent of crystallization can vary depending on the floral source, natural sugar composition, temperature, and other factors. Some varieties, such as certain berry honeys, may remain liquid for much longer.
We do not artificially heat or process our honey to keep it liquid. Therefore, natural crystallization is something our customers may notice, especially during winter.
Can Crystallized Honey Be Consumed?
Absolutely. Crystallized honey is still natural honey and can be enjoyed in its solid or semi-solid form. Its texture becomes thicker and grainier, while its natural character remains.
At Jamal Organic Food, we believe in providing our customers with honey in its natural state rather than altering it simply to maintain a liquid appearance.
